What is a suicide attempt survivor?
"Suicide is not a blot on anyone’s name; it is a tragedy "
— Kay Redfield Jamison (Night Falls Fast: Understanding Suicide)
A suicide attempt is definited as a "potentially self-injurious behavior with a nonfatal outcome, for which there is evidence that the person intended to kill himself or herself; a suicide attempt may or may not result in injuries." Suicide attempt survivors are individuals who have survived a prior suicide attempt.
- Approximately 1 million people attempt suicide in the US each year. We have little data on attempts because many aren’t reported.
- Approximately an attempt every 38 seconds.

Most people don't realize that these attempts are not always plane methodically. In my case after bottling everything up for so long all it took was me being a little tipsy for my subconscious suicidal tendencies to take over. Keep an eye on your quiet friends, I had bottled everything up until it exploded in a way that just nearly took my life.

I believe if I commit suicide This World would also end because this world only exist because I am conscious of it. I don't believe this world exist outside of me. Is that a bad way to view the World?
