We just lost our son, a beautiful young man, to suicide. He was our only child and the center of our world. Does anyone know how to cope with this? We are devastated

I hope you don’t mind me reaching out to you on here. I tried to email you but it bounced back. My name is Ivonne Lizarazo and we are working on a wonderful event you might be interested in. We have recently lost 2 young, very beautiful and talented girls to suicide in the last 9 months. Our hearts are beyond broken but out of this devastation something beautiful is starting to organize. One of the girls, Lupe Galluccio, was a professional surfer in Costa Rica. We are trying to organize a retreat, all expenses paid, for mothers who have lost a child to suicide in her memory. We are in the very beginning stages. In 3 days we’ve raised $2,055 but we need help spreading the word. I thought reaching out to organizations like yours might help. If you could forward our information to some people you think might be interested we would really appreciate it! Of course the more money we raise the more mothers we can help heal. The name of the retreat is Vida Asana in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. There will be yoga, meditation, surfing, lots of organic food and of course mothers connecting and sharing in a beautiful healing environment. http://vidaasana.com/ Of course we are also looking for nominations of mothers that could use this retreat. If you would like you can nominate someone please email sean@vidaasana.com We are looking at March 2018 for the retreat. To make a donation and for more details please go to: https://www.gofundme.com/support-a-healing-retreat Here’s is a little memorial video I put together of Lupe Galluccio & Holly Ambrosait that they will be using to promote this retreat. https://youtu.be/_bzjmsifHDs I thank you in advance for your time. Please let me know if you have any questions. spunkadelic@hotmail.com Thank you and God bless.
